JavaScript has come a long way since being introduced in 1995, and so have we as engineers. We've grown with JavaScript, and in this talk, I'd like to demonstrate through common examples how we used to deploy and compile our JS once upon a time, using techniques that now will look weird, incorrect, like bad practices or even just funny.
